can anyone help - Fix/Recommendation |
| Fix / Recommendation submitted by Liam Godmon - on 21/09/2003 | | The refridgerant has probably leaked out of the system over time. Dont worry, its not sealed for life ,this is normal as it escapes through the rubber pipes. The first thing to do is get a re-charge. Using the air-con regularly, even in the winter, lubricates the system and slows leakage. Your welcome! |
| Fix / Recommendation submitted by Mike - on 25/09/2003 | | Mine dosent work either, due to a total lack of refridgerent in the system! I suspect the problem is in the condensor (at the front of the car, in front of the engine coolant radiator). They are extremely vulerable to being punctured by small stones thrown up by other cars, and its a fairly common problem. Fitting some mesh in the grill aperture would protect the new one if that is the problem. |
