| Guages | | Toyota MR2 MK1 N/A - Dashboard lights do not work. | | Ok my dashboard lights do not come on. When I turn on my headlights the blinker lights on the dash just glow. I've been chasing the problem since I got the car and every now and then the dashboard lights pop on. I'm thinking it has to do with the rheostat but I have a spare and put it on but the lights still wont come on. I've tried everything. Anyone else have this problem? |

| Guages | | Toyota MR2 MK2 N/A - fuel guage | | i changed the whole clocks in my 92 mr2 an everthing works except . the fuel guage is stuck at half full all the time . on the old clocks it was working fine an the new ones was working 100% . is their something i need to do to set them . |
| Guages | | Toyota MR2 MK2 N/A - Intermittant Speedo and Rev counter malfunction | | Hi there. I have a 1999 MR2 non turbo. In recent weeks the speedo and rev counter have stopped working. They work fine in the morning but generally not on the way back from work, especially if its been a hot day. They seem to jump back on if i go over rumble strips on a motorway approach.
I took it to a mechanic who couldn't replicate the problem and reckons that I need new speedo and rev counters. Your advice and help would be greatly appreciated as my mechanical knowledge is limited to very basic maintenence. Cheers |
