| Steering | | Toyota MR2 MK1 N/A - Rear Wheel Alignment problems with aftermarket alloys | | When the camber & tracking is set up as per manual, the whole rear end has a mind of its own, every bump or corner creates a dead zone or rear wheel steering. The new wheels are 15x 50/195s weighing 690kg. Is the problem due to the fact that more rubber is in contact with the road surface, which is causing the toe in to bite too much, and would extra camber & less toe in eliminate this? |

| Steering | | Toyota MR2 MK2 N/A - Steering Wheel - Boss Kit | | Hello, I currently own a K-Reg Japanese G-Limited Toyota MR2 MK2 and I am trying to fit an after market steering wheel with a nightmare of problems. firstly the disc shape contact which connects to the spine seems to be creating an issue with the steering and as a result the power steering failed to work. I had to remove and put old bak on. Has anyone else come accross these problems, before i go and buy another boss kit, as I feel that was my initial problem. Is there a specific type of boss kit for this car and if there is where I can buy one. Many thanks for any useful replys. Thank you

When I get up to around 70-80mph a knocking noise comes from the front left, just infront of the passager seat and the car badly sways from left to right. I have topped up my power stearing fluid level as it felt like it was that, that was kicking in and cutting out but the problem is still there? |

| Steering | | Toyota MR2 MK2 Turbo - Car is wobbling....? | | My car seems to be wobbling (best way to describe it). When I get up to about 50mph if I go over an uneven bit of road the car wobbles side to side. The whole car is wobbling back and fore. The car also does this after I change gear and lift off the clutch. I though it might have been the shocks, so I’ve replaced the front shocks and the link arms but no joy. I thought it might be the brakes so I’ve replaced them. I’ve had the wheels balanced as well. Any suggestions would be very welcome. |
