Toyota MR2 MK2 Turbo - MR2 Turbo with 17in Alloys submitted by Craig on 06/08/2004 | | I have just bought an MR2 Turbo H reg which has non standard 17in alloys on it. The handling isn't as good as my old MR2 Turbo which had the standard 15in alloys on it! Can I just swap the 17in for the standard 15in or will I need to re-adjust anything and will it make the handling better??? | | Fix / Recommendation 1 submitted by Chunks on 17/08/2004 | When you say the handling isnt as good, what do you mean?

Toyota MR2 MK2 N/A - TIRE SIZE!!! submitted by OMAR on 28/04/2004 | | i have a 91 MR2 N/A (US). currently i am driving on 215 fronts and 235 rears (with 17*7 wheels). i was wondering how wide can i go on the rear tires?? (without mods). is at least 245s possible? | | Fix / Recommendation 1 submitted by Peter Fitzgerald on 09/04/2005 | as said, youll need a 7.5 or 8" width rim which on 17s is seriously going to reduce the choice of rims available. It is a big misconception that wider.... Toyota MR2 MK2 Turbo - Wheel sizes submitted by Darren Wright on 14/02/2004 | | I have a rev1 MR2 Turbo with 14in alloys. (195 front, 205 rear).
I've seen some rev3 15in alloys (195 front, 225 rear). Can I just simply replace the old ones or will I have to have things done to the suspension/brakes?

Toyota MR2 MK2 N/A - Recommended Tyres submitted by Craig Hunter on 25/09/2003 | | It's time for me to renew my rear tyres on my P plate MR2 and am after any recommendatations.
Currently I've got Aurora K103 225/50/15's on at the moment and have been fairly happy with them....I've managed to get ~ 35000 miles out of them. Not bad in my book, so was probably going to just replace like for like.
But it's I feel it's always good to get a 2nd opinion...anyone can recommend others to consider.
Cheers

Toyota MR2 MK2 N/A - Excessive Tyre Wear submitted by Craig Hunter on 25/09/2003 | | I've been having a recurring problem with my n/s front tyre in that I'm having to replace it and only it, once a year at MOT time.
Can anyone offer any advice on what might be causing this?
Now my alloys aren't particularly in good shape, (I need to get them refurbished), they're bubbling nicely with that white residue that you get, and that seems to be the only thing I can think of.
Seem reasonable that thats the cause?
Cheers | | Fix / Recommendation 1 submitted by Chunks on 27/03/2004 | Is it wearing on any particular side?

Toyota MR2 MK2 Turbo - Put new alloys on car submitted by PAUL HARRIS on 04/09/2003 | | I'm want to put new 17in alloys on my mark2 1991 turbo. At the moment i have the standard Toyota alloys with the bigger wheels on the rear. By putting the new alloys on the car is it going to affect it in anyway because obviously the new alloys will be the same size wheel all around the car and the wheels wont be bigger at the rear. The place where i'm buying them from will just say its fine but some advice would be greatful. thank. | | Fix / Recommendation 1 submitted by Jonathan Saitzyk on 13/01/2005 | Do not go with the same size on all fours.
