| Wheels | | Toyota MR2 MK2 N/A - MR2 wheel stud length for alloy | | I have just purchased a MK2 MR2 and when it was serviced they said it had the wrong alloys because the wheel nuts are only being held on by 2 threads. The wheel stud length from the hub is about 24mm. the thickness of the allow is 20mm.
I have checked the alloy website and they are the correct ones.
Do I need to get new studs, or is there another solution?
Regards,
Dave. |

| Wheels | | Toyota MR2 MK2 Turbo - New alloy sizes | | I have a rev1 MR2 Turbo with 14in alloys. (195 front, 205 rear). I've seen some rev3 15in alloys (195 front, 225 rear). Can I just simply replace the old ones or will I have to have things done to the suspension/brakes? Cheers |
