| Fix / Recommendation submitted by Charles on 23/03/2005 | | You need to examine the codes stored in the ABS ECU which tells you what the problem is. Can be done manually but best left to a grage with the correct equipment to diagnose it! Full manuals with troubleshooting guides etc available for about £5 on ebay. Usually its the sensors that go. Second hand costs around £40 + VAT or over £100 new from MR T. |
| Servicing | | Toyota MR2 MK2 Turbo - ABS Service Light | | My ABS Service Warning light remains on constantly despite it being looked at by two seperate garages. My ABS are ok and they suggested it could be a faulty sensor but again can't tell me which one is faulty, they can't switch the light off. Can anyone suggest how to turn it off? - Fix/Recommendation |
